Allow me to introduce a project that I've been passionately been working on for the past 5 months along with a great team of designers, content experts, researchers, and web developers across multiple timezones and countries, all with a passion for politics and civic duty.

The idea behind this website is to mobilize and activate young people to get registered and vote. Especially during these times, it's more needed than ever to get people out and voting for the country in which they want live in, love, and be part of.

This project consisted of yes a website but also a social media strategy, content strategy, and SO much more that hasn’t made the light of day yet. Also, stickers! We know, we know - the election is right around the corner. But it is never too late and #WeTheFuture isn’t about one election. It’s about demanding the future WE want ALL year ‘round.
The truth is, no matter who wins, we have to hold them accountable. No matter who wins, we have work to do. Now more than ever.

A Foggy Portrait of the Hudson River

There's something so hauntingly beautiful about the fog. Ever since I was a child driving through the ghats between Pune and Mumbai with my grandfather, often times through the fog, I've always been so very captivated by it. To me, it's one of those rare times when the clouds come down to our level and cover everything in an ethereal blanket. The world always seems quieter and calmer. More. beautiful. More haunting. It's fleeting since the sun almost always burns it away.

Last week I finally got around to visiting Edge. After much fanfare, the largest open air balcony in the western hemisphere finally opened in the Hudson Yards area of Manhattan and was it worth it! Tickets were hard to come by during the day so my visit was right after sunset. The 360 degree panoramic views were absolutely stunning, most certainly the price of admission. I'm already looking forward to going back during the daytime for a different perspective. I highly recommend a visit if you live here or plan to visit our great city.

Niagara Falls During a Pandemic

Recently, on the way back from Wisconsin, I stopped in Niagara Falls for a visit. It's been well over 20 years since I've last been, and, I've actually never been to the American side of the falls, just the Canadian. It was strange being there in the middle of the workweek, all compounded by the fact that we're living through a global pandemic. Regardless, here are some images that I was able to capture.

The Beauty of Everyday Things

While New York City was forced into a Covid-19 sleep, I created a series of black and white photographs that focus on the ever day things. Every day things, you know, the little things that we tend to not pay attention to, take for granted, and ignore. A bottle cap, a piece of lint, a napkin. Objects that are used, then not used, and then forgotten about until the cycle begins again. I wanted to show the beauty of these random, every day objects because there's so much beauty and grace in the most ordinary things.
